Popular Kumawood actor, Bernard Nyarko, has been reported dead and Christiana Awuni Confirms In Tears. His death was reported on Saturday, May 2, 2020.</h3>
The family is yet to reveal the cause of the demise of the actor famously known on set as ‘Bishop’.<br />
The sad news was first shared on the Facebook page of Nathaniel Totimeh a.k.a Kokovelli and later the Instagram page of celebrated radio presenter and DJ, Andy Dosty.<br />
<br />
Months before his demise, Bernard Nyarko announced his decision not to feature in movies any longer.<br />
<br />
According to him, there were evil spirits controlling the movie industry.<br />
<br />
“Every day you would meet different people, every day you would see different girls all of the wants you to become their friends and some of them are coming from the marine sea”, he said.<br />
<br />
Bernard Nyarko who is also a pastor, vowed never to return to the movie industry.<br />
<br />
“If I have stopped acting, I have stopped because it’s full of evil….they should take their movie,” he added.<br />

The Gospel singer <a href="https://africachurches.com/profile-and-biography-of-prophet-seth-frimpong/" rel="noopener" target="_blank">Prophet Seth Frimpong</a> passed away today being Friday, April 24, 2020 as at 2:30am at komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital.</h3>
The veteran musician who is nicknamed the Dancing Prophet is said to have died after a brief illness – Seth Frimpong, known for songs such as Okumchola, Nyame Animuonyam, and Mehuri Sor, was a real powerhouse in his heydays .<br />

 The Kumasi-based veteran gospel musician has been battling with diabetes for a long time.<br />

Revealing this in an interview, the New Patriotic Party(NPP) firebrand who has serialized his exposé of the televangelist, explained that Obinim took advantage of the fact both lived in the same house to execute such an immoral act

Obinim’s wife, Florence Obinim he added while she was away, her sister was warming the bed of the well known Angel in Ghana in violation of the teachings of the bible.<br />

 He said even when Florence Obinim’s sister was readying herself for marriage to her fiance, Obinim in order to continue satisfying his unbridled libido worked so hard and got the marriage cancelled.<br />

 What was fascinating about the whole account he narrated is that, Florence Obinim after the man called Daniel brought his family members for engagement but they were prevented from paying the bride price because Obinim had impregnated the lady and didn’t want any disgrace.<br />

 Daniel could not get money for his family members and he had to borrow from a lady called Ohemaa who gave him 500 cedis for his family members who left with shame.

He said after the engagement was called off, Florence Obinim’s sister was made to abort the pregnancy which was two weeks old.

With the growing disgrace and stigma, Florence Obinim came for her sister and they are now living together in Spain.<br />

 “Obinim slept with his wife’s Sister and got her pregnant.<br />
<br />
The lady called Jemima got a man to marry her but on the day when they were supposed to be put together as husband and wife, Florence Obinim did not agree to the marriage because Obinim had told her not to agree.<br />
<br />
 This was a big disgrace such that the man who wanted to marry her had to borrow money from a lady to pay for the transportation of some members of his family who came to support him.

After the day, Obinim made the lady abort the two weeks old pregnancy.<br />

With the growing disgrace, Florence Obinim came to take her sister to Spain to live with her there,” he revealed.<br />

16 more people have trumped the Coronavirus and have been discharged to their homes, bringing to total 99 recoveries.</h3>
<br />
The number of Coronavirus cases has, however, surged to 834 with an additional death recorded.<br />
<br />
According to the Health Service, the new figures are part of the completion of a backlog of laboratory samples picked up for testing as part of the COVID-19 testing exercise.<br />
<br />
Hence the new figures recorded do not represent new cases.<br />
<br />
"...Some 57,000 samples already successfully tested as at April 15th 2020. In the first batch of this backlog, an additional 198 have been found to be positive. This will bring Ghana’s total case count to 834 at the moment. The general public is however advised that this does not represent new infections that are occurring. It represents results from tests of a backlog of samples," part of the report by the health service read.<br />
<br />
"The laboratories have been working day and night to test this large number of samples. Hopefully in the next few days, all the testing would be completed.<br />
<br />
"Total samples tested so far now stands at 60, 916 with 1.37 % testing positive. The results of these backlog of samples when released does not mean the number of new cases recorded on the day of the report. Regions that have reported cases are Greater Accra, Ashanti, Eastern, Northern, Volta, Upper East, Upper West, Central, Western and North East."<br />
<br />
The additional death recorded brings to total, 9 cases so far.<br />
<br />
A further breakdown shows that the community base spread of the pandemic has hit 77 percent.<br />
<br />
Currently, the regions that have reported cases are Greater Accra, Ashanti, Central, Eastern, Western, Volta, Northern, North East, Upper East, and Upper West regions.<br />
