Asamoah Gyan gutted by tragic death of Junior Agogo [Video]

He died on Thursday in London at the age of 40 after a long battle with stroke.<br />
<br />
 Agogo will be remembered fondly for his contributions at 2008 Africa Cup of Nations on home soil where he scored three goals in six outings as the Black Stars settled for a third-place.<br />
<br />
 The former Nottingham Forest and Zamalek player spent most of his professional career in England and scored a total of 113 goals in 350 league games over 15 years.

Ex-Ghanaian professional football striker Junior Agogo is reported dead at age 40.</h3>
Manuel "Junior" Agogo was a Ghanaian professional footballer who played as a striker.
He was born in Ghana but spent most of his childhood in the UK.<br />
<br />
He then moved back to Ghana during his years in secondary school.<br />
<br />
He began his youth career at Sheffield Wednesday in 1995, moving up to the senior squad in 1997.<br />
<br />
 It was confirmed that the former Zamalek player passed in London on Thursday morning.<br />
<br />
 Agogo was hospitalized in 2015 after suffering stroke which debilitated him.<br />
<br />
 He was remembered for his eye-catching performances for the Black Stars during the 2008 Nations Cup on home soil.
