Honorable Kennedy Ohene Agyapong is a Ghanaian politician and businessman who represents Assin Central in parliament for the New Patriotic Party.

He was first elected a member of parliament in 2000 to the seat of Assin North.
He retained his seat in the 2004 and 2008 parliamenary elections.
In 2012 he was elected in the new seat of Assin Central and was re-elected in 2016.

Early life and education</h3>
Ohene Agyapong was born in Assin Dompim in the Central Region of Ghana. Agyapong holds a GCE A Level and studied in the Fordham University, New York, USA. He is a farmer and businessman, director of Assin Farms, Supercare Group of Companies and Hollyood Shopping Centre. He is married with six children.
<br />

Politics</h3>
In 2008, Agyapong had an unsuccessful bid to be Presidential flag-bearer of his affiliated party, the New Patriotic Party, losing out in the first round. The party's elected flag-bearer however lost the election.

In opposition, he criticized heavily the then National Democratic Congress government on various media platforms and found himself detained by presidential order of John Evans Atta-Mills, an occasion which sparked unrest on the political scene of Ghana.<br />
<br />
 He had made comments which the then head of state found threatening.

Many have pointed out that his comments on that occasion only pointed out the injustices to which members of the opposition party, particular market women, were subjected in parts of Accra when they turn out and tried to vote within certain constituencies.<br />
<br />
 Kennedy Agyapong chairs the Communication Committee in Parliament, under the current presidency of Nana Akufo-Addo.

Agyapong has vowed to commit suicide if former President John Mahama's brother, Ibrahim, is not jailed by the Akufo-Addo government for some corrupt activities which, according to Agyapong, have led to the state losing money.<br />

 One example he claimed, was the defaulting of payment of taxes by Ibrahim Mahama for more than a year period when his brother was President of the Republic of Ghana.

Agyapong's personal campaign on the issue to bring it to media attention led to the investigation of Ibrahim Mahama and subsequent agreement of Ibrahim Mahama to pay the said taxes.<br />

This action earned Kennedy Agyapong praises from a wide section of Ghanaians.

Agyapong's indirect attack on the Electoral Commissioner of Ghana Charlotte Osei for, he alleged, trading sex for her position as the Electoral Commissioner (EC) boss brought upon him criticisms from various leaders including Queen mothers and human rights activists as well as other members of parliament.

In 2018, following the arrest of Ghana Football Association president Kwasi Nyantakyi, he said that anti-corruption investigative journalist Anas Aremeyaw Anas should be stopped before he started investigating people in their "bedrooms whilst asleep".<br />
<br />
 He has repeatedly threatened Anas and was condemned internationally by the Committee to Protect Journalists and Reporters Without Borders he stated that Anas' methods were 'unfair'.<br />
<br />
 Speaking live on Adom FM on 4 June 2018, he called Anas "a blackmailer, an extortionist", mimed his throat being cut and said he should be "hanged."

He also called for "retribution" against Anas' fellow reporter, Ahmed Hussein-Suale, saying "If he comes here, beat him... Whatever happens, I'll pay."<br />
<br />
Hussein-Suale was subsequently assassinated.<br />
<br />
 In July 2018, he was cross examined for contempt of Parliament.

He is believed to be the first Ghanaian individual to own an ¢8 million Rolls Royce, and is believed to also own a private jet, sparking calls for an investigation from the Customs Excise and Preventive Service into his wealth.

Three years ago, with the referendum of June 23, 2016, the British people decided with a percentage of almost 52% and with 71.8% participation the exit of Great Britain from the European Union. </h3>

This great result was undoubtedly the first major, painful defeat for the under German-controlled European Union of banks and multinationals.</div>

However, the exit of Great Britain from the European Union, which was scheduled to take place on 29 March 2019, after exactly two years before had been activated the article 50 of the Treaty of Lisbon, which allows members-states to leave the union, ultimately it did not happen because of a failure to reach an agreement with the Brussels establishment. </div>

<div>
And no agreement was reached because of the arrogant intransigence of the Brussels conclave, which is trying with abundant overweening to humiliate Great Britain and thus use it as a scarecrow to other countries wishing to escape the German prison of the European Union.</div>

According to statements by new Prime Minister Boris Johnson, Brexit will happen definitively on October 31, 2019, either with an agreement or without an agreement. </div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
And this because an irregular Brexit is preferable to a bad deal that will obviously work against Great Britain and the British people. </div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
At the same time, this act of exit, which will liberate Great Britain from the shackles of the European Union, shows, on the one hand, full respect for the will of the British people and on the other hand conflicts with those who are trying in various ways to delay or even cancel the proud Brexit.</div>

It is more than certain that with Brexit is not going to be the end of the world for Great Britain as it did not happen when it chose to stay out of the eurozone. </div>

And, as eminent experts say, the British economy after a short problematic period will be significantly strengthened from a competitive point of view. </div>

So there is no doubt for any perspicacious observer and analyst that in the medium and long term, Great Britain, which will fully regain the ability to pursue national policy in all areas, will prosper out of an undemocratic and highly bureaucratic plan in which Germany has a dominant role.</div>

<div>
However, the supporters of the stay of Great Britain in the European Union essentially want the British people’s will to be annulled and the referendum thrown into the trash following the result of which did not cause any immediate economic crisis as they were warning. </div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
So they are constantly sowing terror, assuring that the consequences of Brexit without a deal will be nightmarish and chaotic, much worse than even Hitler’s bombs. </div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
So they are talking about developments and events that will even endanger the same the unity of the country, huge deficits in food, medicine and fuel that will lead the British to rush like the crazy people to supermarkets, gas stations and pharmacies, “blackout” at ports and airports of the country, destruction of British businesses, decisive blows to the exports and the financial sector, particularly negative impacts on the tourism industry that will transform travel plans millions of people in a hell of delays, cancellations and bureaucracy etc.</div>

But all this logically will not be the case because the responsible government of Boris Johnson for the future of the British economy and the British people, I believe it will take the appropriate measures with prudent and decisive action, drawing up a well-coordinated exit plan that will minimize any negative effects of Brexit.</div>

<div>
 This is also confirmed by the statements made on 1 August 2019 by the Minister of Finance of Great Britain Sajid Javid: “Our economy is fundamentally strong, so today we can make many choices. </div>
<div>
We can choose to both invest in our schools, our hospitals, our fantastic police, for example, but we can also prepare to exit the EU. And, if that means leaving with no deal, that’s exactly what we’re going to do.”</div>

<br /></div>
<div>
At the same time, Brexit will not only have negative impacts on Great Britain, but also on the European Union. </div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
Brexit undoubtedly threatens the unity of the union and creates an example of secession that other countries are likely to follow in the future (Domino Effect), while the lack of Great Britain financial contribution (around ten billion annually) will significantly affect the community budget. </div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
At the same time the Great Britain’s major trading partners (Germany, France, the Netherlands, Italy, Spain and Belgium) will be significantly affected, while the European Union as a whole will cease to have the largest share of world GDP and be the largest trading power internationally, giving its position in the US and China.</div>

<br /></div>
<div>
The blow for the European Union from Brexit, and indeed without an agreement, and given the USA’s solidarity that accompanies it and translates into a major privileged bilateral Great Britain-USA trade agreement, is much more than crucial and can prove fatal for the European Union and the Eurozone, at a time when the latter is experiencing a prolonged economic and political crisis, which has been on the rise lately. </div>

So in the face of heightened power competition between world powers (US, China, Russia, EU) it is more than obvious that the Donald Trump government and the American deep state have decided to curb German influence in the area of the western camp and prevent decisively the enforcement of German wills in European space.</div>

Today’s vision against the rotten, totalitarian and highly neoliberal German European Union, which is the most failed experiment of economic and political union between different nation-states in history, can only be the equal co-operation of free European peoples and sovereign independent democratic countries from one end of Europe to the other.</div>

<br /></div>
<div>
In closing, I would like to stress emphatically that any short-term negative effects of Brexit can in no way stand an insurmountable obstacle in the face of the will of the British people, who have been trained many centuries with the democratic traditions and with the precepts of freedom and independence, to liberate his country from the iron shackles of the European Union. </div>

Those who, moreover, rejoice at the parliamentary hurdles and difficulties that lie ahead of proud Brexit or are calling for a second referendum in order to emerge what they want, that is, actually to blackmail democracy, have to know that the ultimate winner will be the sovereign people and the decision they took three years ago. </div>

This will not be difficult to do here in Ahanta West because we have a lot of resources.”

“We are coming to put up a rubber processing factory here so that people can get jobs to do.<br />

We will also restart the outgrowing scheme we introduced under the Kufuor administration which has collapsed today.<br />

We will restart the scheme for rubber producers to also get some money, as well as farmers,” he said.

But, our a search shows he died on Saturday, September 21, 2019 after battling a short illness.

So, <strong>Oduro said:</strong> “Government has even kept long in taking the taxes….People give a lot of money to the churches, and pastors will use the money to travel abroad and be with their girlfriends”.

“I fully support this, and government can use the money from the taxes to assist the free education….Government should monitor these churches every single Sunday” he added.

The Death Of Evangelist Stephen Oduro</h3>
Above all, he died on Saturday, September 21, 2019 at the Korle Bu Teaching Hospital in Accra, where he had been on admission for about three weeks.<br />
<br />
 But, his wife, Nana Yaa Ampomah, who confirmed the sad occurrence to Nhyira FM says he went into relapse at home after blood transfusion at the 37 Hospital.<br />
<br />
 As a result, he gave up the ghost shortly on arrival back to Korle Bu Hospital.

Mr Mugabe was ousted in a military coup in 2017 after 37 years in power.

Mr Mugabe's early years were praised for broadening access to health and education for the black majority - but his later years were marked by rights abuses and corruption.</h3>
He won Zimbabwe's first election after it secured independence from the UK, becoming prime minister in 1980.

He abolished the office in 1987, becoming president instead.

His successor, Zimbabwean President Emmerson Mnangagwa, expressed his "utmost sadness", calling Mr Mugabe "an icon of liberation".<br />

 Mr Mnangagwa had been Mr Mugabe's deputy before replacing him.
Liberation 'icon'

Mr Mugabe was born on 21 February 1924 in what was then Rhodesia. The country, once a British colony in Africa, was run by a white minority.

He was imprisoned for more than a decade without trial after criticising the government of Rhodesia in 1964.<br />
<br />
 In 1973, while still in prison, he was chosen as president of the Zimbabwe African National Union (Zanu), of which he was a founding member.

Once released, he headed to Mozambique, directing guerrilla raids into Rhodesia. But he was also seen as a skilled negotiator.

Political agreements to end the crisis resulted in the new independent Republic of Zimbabwe.<br />

 Mr Mugabe, with his high profile in the independence movement, secured an overwhelming victory in the republic's first election.

But over his decades in power that followed, the international perception of Mr Mugabe soured, with an increasing number of critics portraying him as a kind of dictator.<br />
<br />
 In 2000, facing serious political opposition for the first time, he seized white-owned farms to resettle black farmers on - causing economic disruption but boosting his popularity among his supporters.

Around the same time, pro-Mugabe militias used violence to influence political outcomes.<br />
<br />
 In 2008, when he lost the first round of the presidential election, attacks on the opposition resulted in his rival pulling out of the contest.<br />
<br />
 He was forced to concede to power-sharing in 2009 amid economic collapse, installing rival Morgan Tsvangirai as prime minister.

But in 2017, amid concerns that he was grooming his wife Grace as his successor, the army - his long-time allies - turned against the president and forced him to step down.<br />

 What has the reaction been?

Deputy Information Minister Energy Mutodi, of Mr Mugabe's Zanu-PF party, told the BBC it was "very much saddened" by the former leader's death.<br />
<br />
 "As a government, we are very much with the family members of the Mugabe family," he said.

"He was a principled man, he could not change easily over his beliefs, he's a man who believed himself, he's a man who believed in what he did and he is a man who was very assertive in whatever he said."
