The minister who was in the area to commemorate this year’s National Children’s Day was enstooled under the name, Mama Dove Wornutefe I by the Chiefs and People of the area in recognition of her contribution in the fight for child rights and development in the community.
She is reported to have helped in the completion of a community clinic started through the efforts of the chiefs and people in 2008 for which reason they honored her.
Dove is the mystery town in which expectant mothers are not permitted to put to birth.
It’s a taboo to rear animals or kill same in the community.
As part of celebration to mark National Children’s Day, the new clinic was commissioned to give quality healthcare to the people even though it’s just a few meters away from the mysterious town.
