In a time when the people of God needed the apostolic fire. God raised a prophet for his people who was a conqueror of the devil and a fervent crusader against the predominant idolatry practice of that time. Archbishop Benson Idahosa was very fiery and bold.
During the military regime of General Ibrahim Babangida, Archbishop Benson Idahosa broke several protocols against the military junta and they tried to muzzle him but to no avail. By 1971, he had established churches all over Nigeria and West Africa.
