Premiership debutant Elmina Sharks were pipped at home by Aduana Stars on Sunday afternoon.

Aduana Stars recorded a 1-0 away win over the 'Botwe' boys at their newly-built stadium, Nduom Park.

A lone goal by Godfred Saka helped the Dormaa based club to sit on top of the Ghana Premier League table.

Elmina Sharks struggled to grabbed the equaliser in the first half of the game.

After recess, Aduana Stars continue to mount pressure on the homesters to double but their shots were saved by the Sharks goal keeper.

Great Olympics will welcome Elmina Sharks whilst Aduana play as host to Bolga All Stars on match day three.
