Nero X - Ghanaian Musical Artist
Talented and fast rising musician Joseph Nkrumah Buabeng, popularly known as Nero –X, has stated emphatically that he is not a gospel musician but a secular musician.

According to him, since most of his music was motivational songs, many see him as a gospel musician.

In an interview with Sir Roy on Radio GIJ’s Drive Time show he described his songs as “good and morally descent.”

“You can do gospel music with a highlife rhythm. I came to meet the likes of Daddy Lumba, Paapa Yankson, A.B Crenstil and the likes. I respect the highlife genre. I don't limit myself. I try to be versatile,” he added.

In response to a question thrown at him on which political party he is attached to, he denied having any affiliation to any political party.

"I am not a person who will come out and support a political party publicly,” he said.

“Sometimes you do that and you lose a large number of fans or win some. All we want is peace,” he explained.

Nero, translated in Italian as black, encouraged Ghanaians to help maintain the peace in Ghana before and after the general election.
