Report reaching Accra24.com indicates that, President Mahama on yesterday, Sunday, October 2 2016, joined Royal House Chapel, also known as "Ahenfie" to partake in the ‘Convention of Saints’ communion and impartation service in Accra.

President John Mahama reassured the congregation of a free and fair election come December, 7, 2016.
Ghana President Mahama said, as the president of Ghana he would work with all stakeholders to ensure there is violent free election. He also praised the clergy for the good work they are doing for mother Ghana and encouraged them to continue with the work God has given too them.

“Do your part, I will do my part and God will do the rest,” Mahama concluded.
Mahama, in his response, expressed his appreciation to the Rev. Sam Korankye Ankrah for his prayers and good counsel.

Government officials including the Minister for Fisheries and Aquaculture Development, Ms. Sherry Ayitey attended the service.
Other officials including Mr. Baffoe Bonnie, special advisor to the president, Elvis Afriyie-Ankrah, Minister of State at the office of the President also graced the event. The president and his associates were welcomed with song ministrations.
