The founder and flagbearer of the Progressive People’s Party (PPP), Dr Papa Kwesi Nduom, has signed the petition urging President John Mahama not to pay attention calls being made on him to free the Montie trio.

The PPP started the petition to counter that of the ‘Free Montie 3 movement’ who are demanding a presidential pardon for the three.

Nduom said in an interview on Starr Chat with Bola Ray Wednesday August 3 the petition should not have been opened.

He also said it would be prudent for the president to fire the Ministers of state who signed the petition to have them freed.

“Mahama himself must disagree, if I were the president and my ministers go to sign that book I will sack them” he said.
