Aston Villa striker Jordan Ayew celebrated Eid Al-fitr with the local community in Aston on Wednesday.

The Ghana international was joined by Benin striker and clubmate Rudy Gestede.

For the community, it was refreshing to see these well-paid athletes break bread with people who simply are not as wealthy or as popular as them.

Ayew and Gestede did this of their own free will because they are entitled to stay at home to bring in Eid.

Both players will be back in training on Thursday as Aston Villa begin intense pre-season under Roberto di Mateo for life in the Championship.

But it looks like Ayew might move before the transfer window shuts at the end of this month.
