Ex-Ghana Actors Guild president Nii Odoi Mensah is dead.
He died in China while undergoing Kidney treatment, producer Socrates Safo has confirmed.
According to actress Juliet Ibrahim, who runs a support foundation for kidney patients, she has been supporting Mr. Odoi Mensah for a while now.

Good health is of paramount importance for daily livelihood.

Unfortunately report reaching GHANASKY.COM and ACCRA24.COM show that, veteran actor and ex-president of the Ghana Actors Guild (GAG), Samuel Nii Odoi Mensah, has lost both kidneys and is finally dead.

His death follows that of the actors guild president, Eddie Coffie who died late last year.

Last year, on January 21, 2015, according to a report by myjoyonline, Nii Odoi Mensah needed $300 weekly to stay live.

Doctors declared both kidneys incapable of performing their key functions effectively to keep him alive.

To stay alive, the actor had to spend $300 weekly on dialysis.
Actor Odoi Mensah was well known on Ghanaian screens and in movie industry during the 90's and early 2000's. He starred alongside with Grace Nortey, Brew Riverson Jr., Victor Lutterodt, among others. May His Soul RIP.
