The best bet for Ghanaians ahead of the November 7 elections is to vote massively for New Patriotic Party (NPP) flagbearer, Nana Akufo-Addo.

This, according to the party’s Director of Communications, Nana Akomea, is because his [Nana] track record as an astute lawyer and an incorruptible political makes him the last man standing among all the candidates contesting the elections including President John Mahama.

In his view, Ghana needs a visionary and courageous leader like Akufo-Addo to accelerate the development of Ghana.

Speaking on Asempa FM’s Ekosii Sen programme Monday, Nana Akomea underscored the need for Ghanaians to look beyond their political preferences to give Akufo-Addo the chance to prove his worth.

“Ghanaians have tried President Mahama and have seen that he has failed so they should try Akufo-Addo in 2016 for massive transformation in their lives” he added.

The NPP man indicated with his [Nana] with his uncompromising nature on corruption; Nana Addo will not hesitate to punish any of his appointees who will engage in any act of corruption under his administration.

Citing the SADA, Woyome and Isofoton corruption scandals to buttress his point, he said the Mahama-led administration has proven that it is “useless in applying the law to fight corruption”.

The NPP Director of Communications added that the bane of Ghana is leadership hence the need for a paradigm shift for a tried and test leader like Nana Akufo-Addo.

Nana Akomea said Ghana’s problems will be solved with a determined leader like Nana Akufo-Addo, who is ready to sacrifice for the wellbeing of the citizenry.
