Black Stars defender Jonathan Mensah is gearing up for the FIFA World Cup qualifying game against Comoros.

The Evian Thonon Gaillard player has been named in the Black Stars 23-man squad set for camping ahead of the game during the international break on November 13.

Jonathan Mensah shared a picture on social media after a workout session, hinting of an afternoon session with the senior national team of Ghana, the Black Stars.

Mensah tweeted:

“Morning session done, rest time now and get ready for afternoon session with the ghanafaofficial blackstars”

The 25-year-old played his first game for French club Evian Thonon Gaillard in the Ligue 1 after serving his long ban from FIFA.

Mensah started the game and played in the full duration against Valenciennes as his Evian side recorded a commanding 4-0 victory.

The Evian Thonon Gaillard defender was handed a four-month ban by FIFA over his transfer move to the French club from Udinese.
