How can prisons be made better rehabilitation centers and prepare inmates for reintegration into society?

According to ACCRA24.COM, Ambassador Cretz donated 7 sewing machines to the Ghana Prisons Service for use in the Sekondi Central Prison. The sewing machines were procured with funding from the Bureau for International Narcotics and Law Enforcement Affairs and will be used to provide vocational skills to the inmates in an effort to reduce recidivism among the prison inmates.
