Former AC Milan and Ghana midfielder Sulley Muntari has joined Al Ittihad on a two-year deal, the Saudi club have confirmed.

Muntari left the Rossoneri last month after his contract was terminated.

The former Inter Milan and Udinese player reportedly met officials of Al Ittihad this weekend to finalise the deal worth 14 million euros.

Muntari featured in 83 games for the Rossoneri scoring 13 goals and was often the subject of controversy, which included an incident of racial abuse against Verona and a disallowed goal in a crunch match against Juventus in 2012.
